Former Doctor Faces Assault Charges Against 38 Patients
Legal authorities have announced that a ex- physician stands accused of carrying out assaults involving thirty-eight individuals who were patients.
Details of the Grave Allegations
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with numerous sexual offences – some of which involve acts against minors under the age of thirteen – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021.
A senior prosecutor stated, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to assist a detailed and complex police inquiry, carefully reviewing the evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
Scope of the Investigation
These allegations follow what police described as a “complex investigation” into alleged assaults at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on 20 January.

- 15 counts of sexual assault.
- 17 counts of penetrative assault.
- Nine counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
- Three counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
