The City of Angels experienced widespread festivities after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Fans worldwide joined local residents in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Local celebrations featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos packing downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
“My focus is already about the next championship we’re going to do this,” the star player remarked through an interpreter.
The parade route concluded at Dodger Stadium, where the team walked out to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ spinning music and the artist driving a light blue classic car around the stadium’s outfield.
