Moscow's Security Strategic Shifts

National guard personnel will now have to secure petroleum plants against unmanned assaults after Vladimir Putin approved legislation on the weekday extending their entanglement in the military campaign. The Russian ruler also enacted a decree allowing military conscription all year round whereas before it happened only during specific times in cooler seasons. Germany plans to raise its military aid to Ukraine by a substantial amount next year to about a significant sum, the treasury department in the German government said on the start of the week. This includes, among other things, heavy weapons, aerial vehicles, protected carriers and the replacement of two Patriot systems.

Norwegian munitions maker the company has signed a letter of intent with a national production company to produce, develop and sell ammunition in Ukraine.

The European nation requested the envoy's presence on the weekday to object to what it said were vulgar, disturbing and unacceptable statements by Russian diplomatic representative who linked the deadly collapse of a tower in Rome to the nation's defense assistance for the conflict zone. The nation's top diplomat stated that the country would not change its international position or its principles in response to irresponsible comments. The federation's diplomatic mission later expressed sympathy for the death of a construction employee in the collapse but seized the moment to complain that the critical reaction to the statements was anti-Russian.
