Vince Zampella, Has Died in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.
The influential industry figure passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a freeway in LA on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts said.
